Exhibitions and Installations, Walks, Cycles and Tours
3 July14:00 - 18:00
A number of architects around the Regent’s Canal are opening their doors to the local community and members of the public on Saturday 3 July. Come and have a look at how we work and what we do and relax by the canal in one of London’s least known waterside locations. Travel by foot or take the scenic route – meandering by boat along the canal.
The Islington Boat Club will be running a canal shuttle service between the offices from 2pm until 6pm. The boat can be picked up at one of several stopping points along the Regent’s Canal. The architects' practices will be clearly signposted from the boat drop-off point.
The following offices will be open:
1. Pollard Thomas Edwards architects, Diespeker Wharf, 38 Graham Street London N1 8JX – open 4-6pm
2. Edward Cullinan Architects, 1 Baldwin Terrace London N1 7RU – open 2-6pm
3. Formation Architects, The Royle Studios, 41 Wenlock Road London N1 7SG – open 2-6pm
The route and practices are clearly marked on the map and there will be staff on the day to help direct you.
All the practices are holding special events throughout the afternoon. Please see “Related Events” opposite for details.
