
BOOKING
You can choose from a series of options depending on what fits your requirements.

- Free event, no registration necessary
- Free event, registration necessary
- Ticketed event, using LFA PayPal system
- Ticketed event, using organiser's own system
If you require no form of booking system then choose 'Disable'.
If your event is free for anyone to turn up then choose 'Free event, no registration necessary'; your event will be listed as free with no other booking required. You can also add additional information if you require.
If your event is free but you require people to register for your event then choose 'Free event, registration necessary'; you must then select the maximum amount of people who can register for your event. Your event will then be listed as free but people will have to 'register for event'. They will then be required to input their name and email address - editors of the event will then be sent these details via email each time somebody books. You can also add additional information if you require.
If your event is not free of charge and you would like to use the LFA PayPal system then choose 'Ticketed event, using LFA PayPal system'; you can then choose the price of your tickets and the maximum number of tickets available. You will also be required to put in contact details as to where you would like your money sent to via cheque after the festival. When booking, people will be required to input there name and email address and then directed to the LFA PayPal page where they pay via credit or debit card. After the festival, the money made through the booking system will be sent via cheque to the details you provide. Please note that PayPal charges a 3% charge for using their service - this charge will be deducted from the money you make via PayPal. Each time somebody books a ticket the editors of the event will be emailed with the booker's name and email address. You can also add additional information.
If your event is not free of charge and you already have a booking system in place then choose option 'Ticketed event, using organiser's own system'; you can then insert a website link where people will be directed to, to book onto the event, or you can provide and email address or telephone for people to use to obtain tickets. You can also add additional information.

PROMOTION
Download the LFA Logo pack for to promote your LFA event. Please email
info@lfa2010.org with details of where you have used the logo for our reference.
LFA will post all event organizers and LFA Merchandise pack with t-shirts, window stickers, badges and bags. Please ensure you add an address in the event profile so we know where to send stuff – this address will not be published on the LFA website.
If you think your event is particularly special then contact our press team Caro Communications (details can be found to the right), who may be able to help promote your event through their resources.
If you have any literature about your event then please send to LFA HQ (details can be found to the left) where we can display your material in the NLA galleries during the Festival.
ADDING / EDITING EVENTS
You can add and edit events whenever you like, there is no deadline, however, for your event to appear on the LFA website you must pay a registration fee of £100 + VAT. To pay the fee go to My LFA and click 'register' adjacent to the event you wish to pay the fee for - this will direct you to the LFA PayPal page where you can input your card details and pay the fee.
